idk if theres an english equivalent, but a croque-monsieur (translation: crunch man) is a french toasted sandwich with ham and cheese inside. Its very good :D. I make them pretty regularly and I'm pretty happy with how I make them!

reciept

  1. take 2 white bread slice
  2. buterrr. more is better (not really).
  3. put cheese slice and ham slice inside breads
  4. GRILL onside a pan on medium heat (u wanna melt the cheese and grill the bread niiiiiice)
  5. flip after 2 minutes ish idfk. when the bread is nice and grilled
  6. once both sides are grilled eat whith mouth (or something else. i dont judge. that much)!

If you want to make it 5x better, you can turn it into a "croque madame" (translation: crunch lady) by putting a fried egg on it. And eat with some salad or tomato.
