030-new game dropped!

kind of ironic making an announcement post on a blog that wont get uploaded until a while

i made a little game for the brackeys game jam 2026.2 :)

its really bad but i like it lol. it was kind of hard since i made it completely solo but (mostly) fun !

at the start i didnt really know what i wanted to make so i would just end up scrolling tumblr instead, but around the end the idea kinda stabilized and then i locked in (and browsed tumblr) but i did end up with something.

what i would have done better

(i always get scared using subheaders)

um the game is insanely short, i can go through it in under a minute probably, so i could have spent more time on level design, even though i'm not sure i could have done that much more with what i had. i prolly could have doubled it i think. i was also planning on adding more weapons but i didnt have time (i did make a cool customizable weapon system)

also umm, the game barely fits the theme at all. oh well

what wuz good

i decided to spen time adding sound effect on the last day, genius idea. it made the game way more enjoyable imo (even tho i think they might be really loud and the volume controls dont work i think). like when stuff happens, it happens.

also i randomly decided to put a song i made a while ago as background music :) im really proud of it. idk if it fits the game so well, but it kinda does
